celebrate national sake day Oct 1!
Did you know that October first is National Sake Day? Neither did we until Gekkeikan sent us their suggestion for a NSD cocktail. Since it sounds temptingly aphrodisiac to us, we’re passing it on to you:
Gekkeikan Apple Blossom

4 parts Gekkeikan Sake
1 part Kobai Plum Wine
1 part Cranberry Juice
1 part Apple Juice
Top with Ginger Ale
Combine ingredients (except the ginger ale) in a mixing glass, add ice and shake well. Pour into a tall glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with a green apple slice.
Saturday. 5pm PST. Let’s all make an Apple Blossom together and have a country-wide toast to… drinking like the Japanese?
