dineLA Restaurant Week has been extended until October 23 and I, for one, couldn’t be happier. Indulged today at one of the 260 participating restaurants — Katsuya Brentwood.

Today’s $24 lunch kicked off with the choice of either Edamame, Shishito Peppers or Sunomono (went for the Edamame, of course).

Three entrees were available — Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki and Salmon Sansho, all with salad, soup and Chef’s choice of rolls. Okay, I may have cheated on that part. I ordered the crispy rice rolls sans tuna due to allergy.

For dessert there was mango, strawberry or vanilla mochi with fruit. I ended up passing due to being stuffed. I know! When do I ever pass on dessert?! Calls for a return trip.

Fans of Katsuya will love their dineLA dinner menu as well ($34). The appetizers could be a problem for some as the choices are all yummy — Rock Shrimp Tempura, Crispy Rice or Albacore Onion.

The entree choices all come with soup, salad, Nigiri Sushi and Chef’s Choice of Rolls and vary from Miso Marinated Cod to Beef and Mushroom Toban Yaki or Salmon Cedar with Tomato Salsa.

Rounding out the meal are mango, strawberry or vanilla mochi with panna cotta and fruit.
