about the love diet

The Love Diet is the once promising, now infamous cookbook by Amy Reiley and Juan-Carlos Cruz. The book was released in June 2010 amid controversy.

One of The Love Diet’s authors, Juan-Carlos Cruz, was the chef accused of hiring not one, not two but three Santa Monica homeless men to murder his wife (to whom The Love Diet is, ironically, dedicated.) Although the book has received more media attention than possibly any other cookbook of 2010, its actual contents (beyond the dedication) are largely yet to be discovered.

This blog is written for the book’s purchasers who actually understand what The Love Diet, not the hype, is all about. Here you will find additional advice, recipes variations and all of the other delicious and inspiring items we couldn’t fit in the book’s 150 pages.
